Job summary

Ibstock Plc is recruiting a Factory Administrator for its Midlands factory in Apedale Rd, Chesterton, Newcastle. The role supports the Factory Manager and TPM team with on-site meetings and general clerical duties.

The successful candidate will handle payroll administration liaison, orders administration, despatch, invoicing, stock control of raw materials and PPE, and input to Agility (PPM) systems, while maintaining reception duties and banking tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—verbal and written.
• Previous administration experience.
• High degree of computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Able to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Support the Factory Manager and TPM team and organise on-site meetings.
• Carry out general clerical duties, including payroll liaison and admin of orders, despatches and invoices.
• Manage stock control for raw materials, PPE and production reports.
• Input and upkeep of Agility (PPM) system.
• Take on reception and telephone duties, petty cash, cash sales and banking.
