Job summary

Allen Distribution in United Kingdom is seeking a Production Quality Technician for the Custom Packaging department. You will monitor daily value-added work orders to ensure productivity and quality, and document audit results during the production process.

The role requires working the 2nd shift (4:00pm–2:30am, Monday to Thursday with overtime as needed) and following SOPs to ensure product quality, safety, and continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with food safety or willingness to receive training in food safety.
• Ability to document and record findings legibly and timely.
• Familiar with following SOPs and customer work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Meet established hourly production standards and address production issues per SOP.
• Conduct inspections and document findings at appointed intervals.
• Provide work direction and motivate the workforce to achieve daily goals.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and proper equipment operation.
