Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Production Quality Control Assistant in Corby. The role involves testing and monitoring product quality, ensuring standards are met in a fast-paced factory environment.

You will carry out inspections, maintain equipment, and keep accurate records while supporting continuous improvement. Ideal candidates should possess a keen eye for detail and be comfortable working independently.

The position offers a rotating shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off, with a pay rate of £13 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous QC experience is desirable but not essential.
• Proactive and reliable with an ability to work independently.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Overview

Working in a factory environment, you will test, measure, and monitor product quality, ensuring processes and standards are consistently met while supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and tests on materials and products.
• Ensure flexible packaging meets quality standards (seal strength, print quality, barrier properties, dimensions, etc.).
• Record and analyse data, keeping accurate quality documentation.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
• Maintain a tidy QC area and uphold BRCGS standards.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Meet daily production and quality targets.

Skills & Experience

• QC experience desirable but not essential but a good eye for detail will be required
• Basic maths and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication, timekeeping, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
• Proactive, reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
