Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planning Assistant to support our planning team. You will create, maintain, and distribute production documentation across facilities, ensuring accurate information to sustain manufacturing operations.

You will manage ECNs, replace outdated drawings, and coordinate with multiple departments to keep production flow seamless while prioritizing schedules and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative or manufacturing support role.
• Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• A service-oriented approach to internal (production) stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create and compile production paperwork packets for multiple departments.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and tailored to the needs of each department.
• Distribute production packets to multiple facilities and coordinate delivery.
• Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), ensuring updates are correctly applied to active production documentation.
• Replace drawings and documents in existing production packets, based on ECNs.
• Prioritize workload based on production schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all locations have the required documentation to maintain production flow.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and efficiency.
