Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking a Production Planner in Kilmalid, Dumbarton, to deliver and optimise the production schedule in collaboration with the supply planning team. The role requires coordinating with production, material planning and other departments to hit operational goals and ensure daily targets are met.

You will monitor daily progress, adjust plans for capacity and disruptions, and ensure resources are available to meet priority production.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience in a similar Planning role within FMCG environment.
• Understand end‑to‑end supply chain and manufacturing processes and interdependencies and constraints.
• Confident using planning software and ERP systems; experience with Excel and specialist planning tools would be helpful.
• Can process and manage large volumes of data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the production schedule, supporting teams to deliver the schedule effectively and on time.
• Adjust the schedule as required based on new information and production requirements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with the Supply Planning Manager to align production plan with capacity plans and adapt to disruptions.
• Participate in daily planning meetings with production, supply chain, and operations teams; review progress and resolve constraints.
• On‑site monitoring of the daily production plan; address issues and ensure resources meet priorities.
