Qualifications

About the Position

This newly created position will manage the schedule and prioritization of the production floor. The role requires balancing company revenue demands with efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create the production schedule for the factory, incorporating short- and long-term plans.
2. Identify capacity constraints and develop solutions.
3. Collaborate with production management to implement the plan.
4. Define and monitor KPI metrics.
5. Ensure on-time delivery of orders.
6. Minimize disruptions caused by production line changeovers.
7. Support shifting customer demands to enhance customer satisfaction.
8. Identify opportunities to consolidate production and increase efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Results-oriented, organized, with strong planning and deadline management skills.
• Proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MRP systems.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing setting, or equivalent education and experience supporting planning roles.
