Owen Daniels is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Production Planner & Controller for Gloucester. The role focuses on creating and managing production schedules, optimizing inventory, and ensuring on-time delivery across a fast-paced operation.

You will collaborate with production, engineering, procurement and customer-facing teams to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, inventory management, and planning processes.

• Develop and manage production schedules to ensure customer demand and operational targets are met
• Monitor inventory levels and material availability, working closely with procurement to minimise shortages and delays
• Analyse forecasts, customer orders, and capacity requirements to optimise production planning
• Track production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency
• Act as a key liaison between production, supply chain, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure clear communication and on-time delivery
