Job description

Responsibilities

1. Monitor minimum stock levels and ensure compliance with specified limits.
2. Manage the Understock report, including daily monitoring of OTIF (On Time in Full) impacts and hourly checks of the RPT69 report.
3. Develop detailed production schedules for all lines, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
4. Liaise with the Sales team to assess customer requirements for OEM orders.
5. Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, Mixing, and Maintenance teams to ensure availability of resources, materials, and machinery.
6. Create and manage work order documentation effectively.
7. Monitor production progress and address deviations from the schedule.
8. Identify and resolve issues such as staff shortages, machinery malfunctions, and supply delays.
9. Continuously analyze production performance and recommend improvements.
10. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
11. Provide regular updates on production progress and identify areas for improvement.
12. Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all Health & Safety policies.
13. Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in production planning within the Retail or FMCG industries.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Experience using Order Wise or similar ERP systems.
• Strong business acumen and good negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage workloads effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Enthusiastic team player with the ability to engage with different personalities.
• Target-driven, motivated, and resilient in the face of challenges.
