They’re expanding and looking for their first Merchandiser / Merchandise Planner to bring clarity and commercial insight to the numbers behind the product. With investment in new systems and data-led decision-making, this is an opportunity to shape the role from day one and make a real impact as the business grows.
As the first Merchandise Planner, you’ll collaborate closely with the Buyer and contribute to strategic decision-making, helping to make smarter buying decisions, identify trends, flag risks, and support successful products. This role focuses on strategy, range architecture, pricing, and delivering weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports that are insights-driven and actionable. It’s a true partnership where your commercial input will be highly valued.
You’ll be the first Merchandiser in the team, so confidence and self-direction are essential — someone comfortable working independently in a small business environment. You should be proficient with numbers and skilled at interpreting data to generate clear, commercial actions. Bonus points if you’ve previously been the first merch in a business, led process changes, or introduced new tools.
