Job description

We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Planner to join the Supply Chain team. This is a permanent, full-time role, based in Alfreton.

Duties:

1. Review and action MRP recommendations to release Production Orders required to enable OTIF across the product range.
2. Work with Production to plan capacity and schedule work into Production.
3. Prepare sales order data to facilitate the management of sales orders.
4. Manage daily orders through the production process.
5. Work closely with Sales to communicate any impact on fulfilment date where stock is not available.
6. Ensure that all sales orders are shipped and invoiced on the day they are dispatched.
7. Collaborate with the Production Planning Analyst to ensure production is forward planned, agreed, and actioned.
8. Own documentation related to Production Planning activities, developing, documenting, and maintaining Process Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions within your responsibility area.
