Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Packer & Grader Operatives to join a busy warehouse operation in Ilminster. This temporary night-shift role offers £14.96 per hour with a £50 overtime bonus, working Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-4am, with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and grade potatoes, removing products that do not meet quality standards.
• Follow photographic grading guides to ensure product consistency and quality.
• Identify and report any foreign bodies found on the grading line.
• Carefully pack potatoes to ensure products reach customers in excellent condition.
• Monitor product quality throughout the packing process.
• Report damaged packaging, open seals, or quality concerns to the Machine Operator.
• Ensure the correct number of bags are packed into trays or MUs and stacked correctly on pallets.
• Accurately label products to prevent customer issues and product returns.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food quality procedures.
