Job summary

MTrec Ltd is seeking a production operative to join our team in a full 3-shift rotation at our UK facility. You will hand assemble components, operate injection moulding machinery and follow SOPs to exact specifications, in a clean, controlled environment.

During a 12-week probation you can earn a permanent contract and enjoy a potential pay increase. Training across departments is provided, with emphasis on PPE, attendance and a positive, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a full 3-shift rotation.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job.
• Positive attitude and readiness to take more responsibility.
• Comfort using PPE in a clean, sanitised environment.
• Good timekeeping and attendance.
• Able to complete 12-week probation with potential for permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and exact specifications in paperwork.
• Hand assemble a variety of components.
• Work with small plastic components in a sterile environment.
• Operate injection moulding machinery.
• Set up and operate machinery after training.
• Train across departments during the first 12 weeks.
• Quality inspect a range of components.
• Understand production systems and PPE requirements.

You must be able to work this full rotation, day shift, back shift, and a night shift rotation

The Hours You’ll Work

• Monday - Thursday 06:00 am - 14:00 pm / Friday 06:00 am - 12:00pm
• Monday - Thursday, 14:00 pm - 22:00 pm / Friday 12:00 pm - 18:00 pm
• Sunday - Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00 am

The Pay You’ll Receive

• £13.50 Per Hour

The Job You’ll Do;

• Following standard operation procedure paper work and following to exact specifications
• Hand assembly of a variety of components
• Working with a variety of small plastic components within a very sterile working environment
• Machine operation on a variety of injection moulding machinery
• Setting and operation of machinery after training
• You will be trained on a variety of departments within your first 12 weeks training period
• Quality inspection of a range of components.
• Should have working knowledge of all production departments and understand the systems used.
• Must be comfortable to wear a variety of PPE, including hairnets, gowns, beard snoods, and other associated PPE

About You;

• Please do not apply if you cannot work a full 3 shift rotation after completing your probation
• Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
• Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary
• Must be comfortable working in a clean and sanitised working environment and wearing a variety of PPE.
• Good time keeping and attendance standards are required for this role
• Be happy to be trained by an experienced lead operator initially
• The company are subject to random drugs and alcohol testing
• Must be able to accept a permanent contract after successful completion of a 12 week probation period
