Job Title: Production Operator

Role Overview

As a Production Operator, you will support the Line Leader in ensuring the efficient running of production lines, achieving targets, and monitoring line machinery.

Working Hours

The hours for this role are:

• Monday - Friday, 05:00 - 14:00
• or
• Monday - Friday, 14:00 - 23:00

Key Responsibilities

1. Follow Standard Operating Procedures to complete tasks within the production environment.
2. Maximise line output by maintaining line speeds at the correct standards.
3. Report non-conformances to the Line Leader immediately.
4. Monitor actual versus expected hourly line output rates and identify reasons for shortfalls.
5. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and contribute suggestions to enhance line performance.
6. Assist during line changes and learn new skills as required.
7. Complete manual work as needed.
8. Work on different lines and areas as required.
9. Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
10. Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, reporting issues or near misses accordingly.
11. Maintain a clean work area and demonstrate good manufacturing practices.
12. Take accountability for maintaining line standards and the quality of the product to meet customer expectations.
13. Complete routine tasks proactively and perform any other duties related to this role and the production environment.
