Job summary

Prime Appointments are recruiting for a Factory Operative in Chelmsford, Essex, with a pay of £12.71 per hour and a temporary-to-permanent contract. Immediate start available, with on-site parking and ongoing training offered.

You must have your own transport and prior factory/production experience is preferred. The role involves loading/unloading machinery, operating equipment safely, performing quality checks, measuring/assembling to spec, using hand tools, and supporting general production

Qualifications

• Must drive and have own transport.
• Previous factory or production experience.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading production machinery.
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
• Measuring and assembling products to specification.
• Using a variety of hand tools during the production process.
• Supporting general production and housekeeping duties as required.
