Job summary

SC Johnson Professional Europe is hiring a Production Operator in Denby, UK. The role operates on a 38.5-hour week with a front or back shift pattern between 06:00 and 22:00, Monday to Friday, involving setup, changeover, washout and packaging of injection moulding, mixing or filling lines.

You will work to safety, quality and GMP standards and support continuous production with a focus on OEE and team handovers.

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment in line with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, ensuring all manufacturing activities meet quality, safety and GMP standards.
• Set up, operate, change over and monitor production equipment in line with operating procedures.
• Perform quality checks and follow standard operating procedures to ensure products meet specification.
• Identify, escalation and help resolve safety, quality or operational issues to support continuous production.
• Maintain production equipment and work areas in line with asset care and housekeeping standards.
• Support and coach colleagues and agency workers to follow safe working practices and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality and reliability.
• Participate actively in shift handovers, team meetings, training activities and other day-to-day operational communications.
