PPG in Runcorn is seeking a Production Operator to manufacture coatings to the highest quality, following Shop Orders and Process Control Systems. The role is full-time, permanent, with a 37.5-hour week on rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 13:00–21:00).

You will ensure safety with FLT/Reach truck checks, support continuous improvement, maintain 5S standards, and assist with audits and health and safety guidelines. A proactive communicator in a fast-paced team will thrive.

Qualifications

• FLT license required.
• Ability to process/understand Lean principles.
• Good communication skills for a fast-paced, high-achieving team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Process/manufacture products to the highest quality, per Shop Orders and Process Control System guidelines.
• 37.5 hours per week on rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 / 13:00–21:00).
• Advise Production/Shift Managers ASAP on quality issues or material shortages.
• Assist in continual improvement and advise on procedures in the work areas.
• Ensure FLT/Reach truck safety and daily checks.
• Clean and maintain all equipment in line with 5S requirements.
• Help maintain daily audit data per SQCPD requirements.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and promote safe practices within the team.
• Carry out additional duties as required by Production/Shift managers.
• Adhere to PPG Whitford policies and code of conduct.
