Job summary

Marshalls plc in Bishopbriggs (Glasgow) is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will work on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, 12-hour days from 05:30 to 17:30, performing duties to manufacture high-quality roof tiles and related products.

You will use manual handling tools, powered hand tools, machinery and equipment, while upholding safety, quality, waste and OEE targets. The role requires good English, team spirit and a proactive approach to improving processes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating in a small/medium manufacturing operation.
• FLT counterbalance licence would be preferred but not essential.
• Own transport required due to the site location and start times.
• Team player with attention to detail.
• Good level of English, oral and written.
• IOSH qualification is desirable.
• A forward-thinking individual continually looking at improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties relating to the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products, using all operational techniques.
• Use manual handling tools, including powered hand tools, machinery and mechanical handling equipment.
• Work in an environment where safety, quality, waste and OEE targets are the norm.
