Job summary

Advanced Proteins is the UK's largest single-site animal by-product and pet food ingredient supplier, based at Cheddleton, Staffordshire. We are seeking a reliable operator to join our site production team to run process lines and assist with daily plant duties.

Responsibilities include operating plant or machinery, reporting faults, ensuring product quality, monitoring output, and carrying out basic sampling.

Qualifications

• Experience within a manufacturing/processing environment.
• Forklift driving experience or willingness to train.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety.
• Ability to use a computer/hand-held device.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant or machinery and monitor process lines.
• Report equipment faults promptly.
• Ensure finished products meet specification.
• Monitor products and carry out basic sampling tasks.
• Drive different vehicles and use lifting equipment.
• Perform confined space entries safely.
• Follow Health & Safety guidance and procedures.
