Job summary

Bimplus in Widnes is recruiting a Production Operative to join a market-leading manufacturer. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:00, offering a salary of £33,000 at the Widnes facility.

You will work as part of a small team, bringing a strong work ethic and good communication to ensure smooth production. Responsibilities include operating production machinery, packing products, quality checks, basic maintenance, and maintaining 5S housekeeping.

The ideal candidate will be willing and able to work as part of a small team, have good communication skills and a keen work ethic, with experience of a production factory environment, working towards company expectations and targets. Roles and responsibilities of a Production Operative;

• The production of high-quality products operating production machinery
• The manual packing and movement of heavy products
• Observations, tests and assessments of product to ensure quality control compliance, in-line removal and replacement of sub-standard product
• Minor maintenance of plant and equipment, clean down of equipment at the end of production
• Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S housekeeping and environmental management

Requirements as a Production Operative;

• Worked on an automated Production line
• Monitoring machinery and reporting issues
• Heavy industry experience is preferable
• A current FLT License would be desirable
