Job summary

Atkore is recruiting a Production Operator in West Bromwich. You will operate a break press, maintain production output, and inspect parts to ensure quality while following health, safety, and site procedures.

You will contribute to 5S practices and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring accurate records and adherence to ATIRE and SQDC values. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

What you’ll do:

• Operate break press
• Produce at the required rate and take action where required to achieve that rate
• Take responsibility for inspection of incoming and outgoing parts and materials
• Keep production and quality related records up to date
• Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned

Hours of work:

39 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern:

• Week 1: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm & Friday 6am - 1pm
• Week 2: Monday - Thursday 2pm -10pm & Friday 1pm - 8pm

Salary: £12.71 per hour plus 22% shift allowance for rotating shifts
