A staffing agency is looking for Production Operators/Machine Operators at a manufacturing site in Tredegar. Successful candidates will work Monday to Friday on a rotational three-shift pattern (Day, Afternoon, Night). Responsibilities include operating machinery, unloading raw materials, ensuring quality standards, and completing production paperwork. Candidates must be adept at meeting production targets and have good English skills. Immediate start for the right person.

Job description

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Operators / Machine Operators to join our clients manufacturing site in the Tredegar.

These positions are starting immediately for the right candidate.

Hours of work:

These roles are working Monday-Friday (no weekends) on a rotational three shift pattern. 40 hours per week.

• Day shift - 06:00am - 14:00pm
• Afternoon shift - 14:00pm - 22:00pm
• Night shift - 22:00pm - 06:00am

Duties include:

• Operating a range of production machinery and equipment.
• Manually unloading raw material into production machinery.
• Setting machinery for each production run.
• Visual inspection of product working to an array of quality systems and standards.
• Completing production/quality related paperwork ensuring full audit trail is followed.
• Loading and unloading of material to and from machinery.
• Working to production targets and KPI's within a timely manner

The desired candidates will have:

• Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.
• Good level of written / verbal English & be able to complete quality related paperwork.
