Job description

A precision engineering company based in Stanley, County Durham, which designs and manufactures high-temperature metal seals for aerospace, automotive, and power generation sectors, is seeking several Production Operators to join its expanding team.

Production Operators benefit from a private pension scheme, a non-contractual Business Performance Related Bonus, 23 days' annual leave (rising with service), Bank Holidays, and a 38-hour working week with an early finish on Fridays, offering excellent work/life balance.

Responsibilities of the Production Operator include:

1. Undertaking a wide range of production activities and manufacturing processes to produce high-quality components at high volume and within tight tolerances.
2. Following works instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures.
3. Performing small component metal cutting, forming, welding, rolling, and finishing processes.
4. Inspecting parts visually and using measuring equipment.
5. Accurately completing job cards and routing sheets for all processes.
6. Ensuring all products meet high-quality standards to uphold the company's reputation for excellence.

Previous welding experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
