Job summary

MTrec Ltd in Shildon is seeking a production operative to set up and operate a range of manufacturing machinery on a 3-shift pattern. You will complete tool changes as needed to meet production demands and monitor quality throughout the process.

Daily tasks include checking stages, taking samples, completing paperwork, and carrying out routine maintenance. You must be physically fit and capable of working independently or in a team to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to operate and change production tools.
• Physically fit for heavy products.
• Capable of following procedures and maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating a range of production machinery.
• Completed tool changes when needed to meet production requirements.
• Checking at various stages of the process, taking samples, feeding machines / lines.
• Completing paperwork, making sure each stage of production has been met.
• Carrying out routine maintenance on machines, fixing any issues if possible or reporting them to the correct person.
• Carrying out general laboring duties within a factory environment.
• General housekeeping duties carried out, making sure own area is kept clean and tidy.
• Strict daily targets and deadlines, which are monitored by team leader.

The Hours You'll Work;

• 3 x shift Pattern
• 06.00am till 14.00pm / 14.00pm till 22.00pm / 22.00pm till 06.00am

The Pay You'll Receive;

• £17.08 per hour on all 3 shifts
