Job summary

MTrec Ltd in Prudhoe is seeking a Production Operative to operate a range of production processes, manufacture designated products safely and efficiently, and ensure quality at every stage.

You will work a continental shift pattern: 2 x 12 hour days followed by 2 x 12 hour nights, then 4 days off, with the pay rate of £16.47 per hour and access to an employer pension scheme and free onsite parking.

• Physically fit; able to handle heavy products.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control production processes.
• Manufacture designated products safely and efficiently.
• Operate production machinery to detailed planned requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping to required standards.
• Collaborate with shifts to meet plant KPIs.
• Conduct routine process checks and sampling.
• Record key process parameters such as flow, temperature, pressure, weight.
• Maintain full plant records and data sheets.
• Assist maintenance to clean/replace production machinery.
• Wear PPE at all times.

The Hours You’ll Work;

• Continental Shift pattern

• 2 x 12 hour day shift followed by 2 x 12 hour night shift then 4 days off

• 07.00am till 19.00pm

The Pay You’ll Receive;

• £16.47 per hour

• MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Prudhoe area.

The Job You’ll Do;

• Competent in the operation of all relevant production processes

• Competent in the manufacture of designated products in a safe, efficient manner

• Understand and operate all production machinery inline for detailed planned

• Maintain all areas to the required standards of house-keeping

• Work as a team with colleagues and other shifts to ensure the relevant KPIs are met for the plant area

• Conduct routine process checks; testing alarm, strainer checks, scrubber and process sampling

• Observation and recording/ controlling of key process parameters such as flow, temperature, pressure, weight

• Accurately maintain full plant records and data sheets

• Assist maintenance to clean and replace production machinery

• Wear the appropriate PPE at all times
