Imperial Recruitment is recruiting for Production Operators and Packers at a busy Sedgefield facility. The roles include two shift patterns: 3 on 3 off, 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm for Production Operators, and 8-hour rotating shifts (7-3, 3-11, 11-7) for Packers.

These are temporary, ongoing positions with potential long-term opportunities. Successful candidates will operate and monitor machinery, ensure quality packing, perform visual checks, maintain records, and follow health, safety, and

Qualifications

• Own steel toe cap / safety boots essential.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to shift pattern.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production/packing machinery in line with company procedures.
• Ensure products are packed correctly and to the required quality standards.
• Carry out visual quality checks throughout the shift, reporting any faults or issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and paperwork as required.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times, in line with food manufacturing standards.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy, adhering to good housekeeping practices.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Report any machinery faults or downtime promptly to supervisors.
• Adhere to all company policies, including PPE requirements.

Production Operators & Packers - Sedgefield

£12.90 per hour | Temporary - Ongoing

Imperial Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading food packaging manufacturer based in Sedgefield. Due to increased workload, our client is looking for multiple Production Operators and Packers to join their busy production facility.

We have two shift patterns available:

• Production Operators - 3 on 3 off, 12-hour shifts, 7am - 7pm
• Packers - 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, on a rotating pattern of 7-3, 3-11 and 11-7
