Job summary

Kingdom People is recruiting for production operatives to join a leading food manufacturer at a site in Heanor, DE75 7RJ. Training is provided, no previous production experience required. Working Monday to Friday 07:30–15:30 with overtime available.

Temporary to permanent after a minimum of 12 weeks, with opportunities for progression and a supportive on-site team. Free parking on site and competitive pay rates are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic English communication (written and spoken) required.
• Be able to work 8hr shift and commute to Heanor, DE75 7RJ.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Check product matches packaging.
• Place products in machine slots and pack on the production line.
• Follow site rules and procedures.
• Fill in paperwork when required.
• Quality control of products.
• Report issues to team leader.

Job description

Kingdom People are recruiting for several food production operatives to work at one of our client’s sites in Heanor (DE75 7RJ). The customer is a leading food manufacturer (Puddings) that operates in ambient environment.

Job Details

Monday to Friday (Full time hours) – flexibility required

07:30 – 15:30

£12.91 per hour basic rate

£16.14 - £25.82 per hour Overtime

Heanor, DE75 7RJ

Previous food production experience not required as training is provided.

The Role

Production Operatives will be expected to do the following tasks (list is not exhaustive):

• Checking that the product matches the packaging
• Placing products in the machine slots
• Packing products on production line
• Following site rules and procedures
• Filling in paperwork when required
• Quality control of products
• Reporting issues to team leader
• Manual handling will be required

Requirements

Production Operatives ideally need to fulfil the following requirements:

• Be able to work 8hr shift
• Being able to commute to Heanor, DE75 7RJ
• Basic communication in English (written and spoken)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
