Job summary

Central Employment Agency (North East) Ltd. is hiring Production Operatives for a busy beverage manufacturing site in Hartlepool. Roles involve operating canning, bottling and packaging lines with training provided and ongoing work opportunities.

Shifts include 6:00am–2:00pm, 2:00pm–10:00pm and 10:00pm–6:00am, with clear, consistent hours on a static basis.

Qualifications

  • Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or FMCG experience is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • Comfortable standing for prolonged periods and carrying out manual handling duties
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Working on automated canning, bottling and packaging lines
  • Feeding products and materials into production machinery
  • Packing finished products ready for distribution
  • Carrying out visual quality inspections
  • Labelling and palletising finished goods
  • Assisting with machine changeovers and line set-up where required
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Supporting the wider production team to achieve daily production targets

Production Operative

Location: Hartlepool
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (Days) | £13.71 per hour (Nights)
Job Type: Ongoing Temporary

Central Employment are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a leading beverage manufacturer based in Hartlepool.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production facility involved in the manufacturing, canning, bottling, packaging and distribution of a range of beverages. We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who can thrive within a fast-paced production environment and are seeking ongoing work with a reputable employer.

Shift Patterns Available

We currently have the following shifts available:

  • 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm - 10:00pm
  • 10:00pm - 6:00am

These roles are primarily offered on a static shift basis, allowing you to work consistent hours each week. However, there may also be opportunities for candidates who are flexible and willing to work a rotating shift pattern.

Pay Rates
  • £12.71 per hour for day shifts
  • £13.71 per hour for night shifts
Duties & Responsibilities
