Job summary

Steatite Antennas in Leominster is seeking a Production Operative to join our team and support the manufacture of world-class antenna systems. The role offers in-house training with a clear pathway to a Production Technician through hands-on experience.

No prior manufacturing experience is required, as full training will be provided. We value practical skills, attention to detail and a reliable work ethic, with opportunities for progression across the UK and relocation support where eligible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components for production.

• Use a variety of hand tools safely and accurately.
• Read engineering drawings (full training provided).
• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections.
• Complete production documentation.
• Support other production areas, including Stores and Packing.

What You Will Be Doing

Working within our production laboratory, you’ll support the manufacture of our products by:

• Preparing materials and components for production.
• Building mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Assembling higher-volume products.
• Working with adhesives, sealants and coaxial cable preparation.
• Using a variety of hand tools safely and accurately.
• Reading engineering drawings (full training provided).
• Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections.
• Completing production documentation.
• Supporting other production areas, including Stores and Packing, when required.
