Job summary

Eakin Healthcare is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. We have 3 positions available, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 10:00–20:30 (4 day week).

Salary is £12.73 per hour, with skills and training allowances as applicable. Reporting to the Production Supervisor/Manager, you will work as part of the packing production team to ensure high quality products are manufactured in line with work instructions and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Good attention to detail.
• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment (desirable).
• Experience in carrying out quality checks (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing processes: carry out operations ensuring good quality products.
• Quality checks: report variances and ensure documentation is clear.
• Housekeeping: maintain high standards in the working area.
• Packing products: ensure products are packed neatly and not damaged.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required.

JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Production Operator (x3 positions available)

Reporting to: Production Supervisor / Manager

Hours per week: 40

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10:00 - 20:30 (4 day week)

Salary: £12.73 per hour (Skills / Shift Allowance depending on shift and training)

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the role is to ensure good quality products are manufactured in line with the relevant work instruction to meet customer requirements within efficient and calculated timelines. You will work as an important part of the packing production team on the site you are based.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacturing Processes

• Carry out various operations within the department ensuring good quality products.
• Follow the relevant work instructions and quality control procedures specified on the QMS to manufacture products of the highest standard.

Quality Checks

• Report any variances to standard of product and seek advice if unsure.
• Ensure any documentation is completed correctly and can be read easily.

Housekeeping

• To ensure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained in the working area.

Packing Products

• Responsible for ensuring products manufactured are packed neatly into the containers provided not to damage them.

Other
