Job summary

Noble Foods Home of the Happy Egg Co. is seeking a Production Operative to join the Packing Centre. You will work in a fast-moving factory environment following GMP and site procedures, with full training provided.

Team-based role requiring flexibility on shifts; overtime may apply and benefits are offered. You will support production by handling denesting, loading and labelling tasks to maintain smooth output.

• Inspect materials and remove items not meeting standards.

What are we looking for?

We are looking to recruit energetic and passionate people to support the production team by receiving product into the factory; experience is not necessary as all training will be provided!

You as a Production Operative will work as part of a team in a fast-moving consumer goods production environment, known as the Packing Centre, carrying out duties as directed by the leadership team. The role requires following all site processes, procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to support the delivery of organisational values, behaviours and objectives, while maintaining full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

• Inspection Visual removal of materials that do not meet the required standards.
• Denester Loading production packaging into the production flow.
• Bed end Processing semi-processed units into outer case receptacles Box line Loading and Labelling Finished goods onto transportation vessels
• Safe Working - Promote a safe working environment by reporting, escalating and behaving in a way that supports and promotes a safe and positive wellbeing operational environment.
• Monitor and control - As the production flows, keep an eye quality, whether print or product based, and reprocess as required.
• Reporting any discrepancies to the leadership team - escalated where production is either not: meeting the expected quality standards or customer specification, and any impacts to the production flow.
• Following the expected Processes and Procedures - set out in the organisational documents, procedure and training for the reflective operational.
• Assist all team members with startup, changeover and postproduction activities.
• Changeovers and start up - Setup equipment, in line with standard instruction and training. Escalate any faults prior to operation.
• Cleaning - Using the provided cleaning equipment, it is the responsibly of all staff to assist on changeover, postproduction and general cleanliness of the area.
• Training - Promote a positive working environment for new starters and agency staff by teaching what to do and escalating where there are any issues.
• Communication - To communicate with stakeholder departments, to ensure there is enough materials to maintain the production flow.
• Reporting any discrepancies - to the leadership team, which are either not: meeting the expected quality standards and customer specification impacting production flow.
