Job summary

Quest Employment is seeking Production Operatives for a leading Corby manufacturer. The role involves assembling electrical connectors, reading technical drawings, and performing manual and some soldering tasks in a clean, modern factory.

This is a temporary to permanent position with full training, a 39-hour week from Monday to Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–13:00, with overtime available. Candidates with basic electronics assembly experience will have an advantage, but training is

Job Description

Quest Employment is currently recruiting for Production / Assembly Operatives on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Corby.

Our client specialises in the production and testing of bespoke electrical connectors for industries including automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and industrial sectors.

This is a long-term opportunity with full training provided and the potential to become permanent following a successful probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling electrical connectors and small components to precise specifications
• Working from technical drawings and instructions
• Carrying out manual and technical assembly, including soldering and loom assembly
• Using tools and equipment at your own workstation
• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintaining a steady and efficient working pace
• Keeping your workstation clean and organised

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous electronics assembly or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Good manual dexterity and a steady hand
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good eyesight and comfortable working with small components
