Job summary

Staffline in Mansfield is seeking a full-time production operative on rotating shifts (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm). You will pack products, load materials, operate line equipment, and report faults to ensure smooth production.

Full training is provided. A good command of English and basic numeracy are required, with a team‑oriented approach and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of written and spoken English plus numeracy skills.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible in the tasks required of you.
• Working as part of a team - join in and help others around you.
• Be able to follow instructions from other team members and supervision.
• Ensuring communication to keep the operation running smoothly.
• Completing all relevant checks and cleaning paperwork where required.

Responsibilities

• Packing products into boxes/baskets.
• Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery.
• Operating production line equipment.
• Assembling goods on a production line.
• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff.
• Finishing products, e.g. applying coatings.
• Monitoring the production process.

Rates of Pay

• Pre 12 wks - £14.99 per hour
  OT pre 12 wks
  Mon-Sat - £18.16 per hour
  Sun - £21.34 per hour
• Post 12 wks - £15.28 per hour
  OT post 12 wks
  Mon-Sat - £18.53 per hour
  Sun - £21.78 per hour
• Overtime is available.

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, and the hours of work are:

Hours of Work

• 6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

• Packing products into boxes/baskets
