Job summary

ECHO Personnel is seeking 2 reliable Production Operatives to join our client’s established team in Wellingborough. The role involves operating and monitoring production machinery in a recycling environment and loading materials with a counterbalance forklift.

You should have 1–2 years’ experience in production or manufacturing, a valid counterbalance forklift licence, and be able to work across multiple areas with rotating day and night shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
• 1–2 years experience in production, manufacturing, or recycling environment preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple areas of the production process.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent time-keeping and attendance record.
• Flexible approach to working rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient running of the recycling process.

• Complete visual safety checks of equipment before operation.
• Monitor machinery performance and report any issues to the Production Team Leader.
• Identify, weigh, and record recycled materials and waste streams accurately.
• Complete production paperwork and record weights on documentation and bulk bags.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the site.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Work flexibly across different production areas as required.

Requirements

05:45 – 18:00 17:45 – 06:00 (Including weekends and bank holidays)

Pay Rate

£14.89 per hour (increasing to £15.34 per hour after 12 weeks)
