Job summary

Stateside Foods Ltd in the UK is seeking a Production Operative for the Toppings Department. The role is permanent, with hours Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 22:00, focusing on maintaining production standards and GMP compliance.

You will maintain housekeeping, report equipment or product issues, perform basic machinery repairs, replenish stock, and add toppings to pizza bases. You will work with Line Leaders and Team Leaders, following HSE and Hygiene policies in a chilled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production is preferred.
• Ability to work in a chilled, fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GMP and housekeeping across all areas.
• Report machinery or product issues promptly.
• Carry out basic machinery repairs/replacements as needed.
• Replenish the production line with fresh stock.
• Add toppings to pizza bases.
• Collaborate with Line Leaders and Team Leaders.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by management.
• Adhere to H&S and Hygiene policies.

We have a permanentopportunity within ourToppings Department for a Production Operative.

The role will be working Monday to Friday 14.00 - 22.00.

The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to the correct production standards, which are to include good manufacturing practices.

An overview of the role below:

• Maintain and improve housekeeping/GMP within all areas
• To report/highlight any machinery or product related issues
• Carry out basic machinery repairs/replacements on wear and tear
• Replenish the production line with fresh stock
• Adding toppings to pizza bases
• Build effective relationships with Line Leaders and Team Leaders
• Any other adhoc tasks requested by management
• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures.

Ideally candidates will have experience working within a similar role; food and/or production experience is preferred however not essential.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.

Candidates should be able to work in a chilled, fast paced environment.
