Job Description:

We have an excellent temporary opportunity for a candidate with an electronics background to work for our Winsford based client who is part of a large group. You will become part of a very supportive team who work closely together to achieve their goals.

The role:

Lead the assembly and manufacture products to a high level of quality according to demand, works schedule and processes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. The senior production operative will also be responsible for ensuring correct processes are followed, carrying out pre-dispatch inspections on all products, and maintaining minimum stock levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train new starters
• Support the workshop supervisor and planner manager to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
• Check goods in
• Dispatch orders
• Manage stock levels with workshop supervisor
• Assemble signage and traffic control equipment
• Measure, grind, and perform stud welding on bodywork ready for production
• Report equipment faults to supervisor
• Carry out basic testing and quality checks
• Check and store received goods
• Packing goods for shipment
• Clean and maintain work areas
• Support installation team as required
• Respond to customer queries
• Fault finding and problem solving
