This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Operative to join a market leading engineering company based in Chesterfield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, load, operate company production equipment (training provided)
• Unpack products/parts and complete the required documentation accurately
• Inform the Production Manager or Shift Supervisor of any problems with the planned production schedule.
• Ensure that suppliers, customers and drivers are dealt with courteously and efficiently at all times.
• Assist with Goods In and Despatch duties.
• Operate the forklift truck as required.
• Deliver / collect goods to / from customers if required.
• Assist with minor maintenance activity and report maintenance requirements

Requirements:

• Previous production/manufacturing experience, ideally in an engineering environment
• Forklift and/or crane operating experience (desirable)

Previous experience working within an engineering/manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.

Candidates with previous experience as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Paint Sprayer or Assembly operative could be suitable for this role.
