Temporary Production Operative - Insulation/Element Winding (6 Months)

We have a vacancy for a Temporary Production Operative to join our busy, friendly team at the Production Unit in Tideswell, for approximately 3-6 months.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Insulate a wide range of furnace chambers and heating elements with various insulation materials.
• Form, condition, and test element windings to required standards.
• Use equipment to form, test, condition, cut, and shape component parts.
• Use vacuum forming processes to manufacture parts from ceramic fibres.
• Perform other tasks as necessary, as requested by the Production Unit Supervisor.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in production or manufacturing environments and knowledge of materials and cutting techniques are preferred but not essential, as full training is provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:

• Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
• 38 hours per week, 4-day week, rotating shifts: Monday–Thursday/Tuesday–Friday.
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 8:00–16:45, Friday 8:00–12:30 (early finish).
