Staffline is recruiting a Production Operative for their site in Carlton, Barnsley. This is a full-time role with day and afternoon shifts (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm). Pay starts at £14.11 per hour, with overtime at £21.61 per hour after 39.5 hours.

Typical duties include packing, measuring and feeding materials into machinery, assembling goods, reporting faults, and ensuring quality checks are completed. On-site parking, free drinks, PPE, and full training are provided.

Qualifications

• Basic written English and numeracy required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to tasks.
• Teamwork and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong communication to ensure smooth operation.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Pack products into boxes and baskets.
• Measure, grade and feed batches into production machinery.
• Assemble goods on a production line.
• Report equipment faults to maintenance staff.
• Finish products and apply coatings.
• Monitor the production process.
