Job summary

Connect Appointments are recruiting individuals to join our Rosyth based Bakery client, as Bakery Production Operatives. You will assist in producing a range of baked goods and conduct quality checks throughout the production process.

Full training is provided, with an emphasis on safety, hygiene, and teamwork. Shifts run Sunday to Thursday (22:00-06:30) or 23:00-07:30, with weekly pay at £14.65 per hour and ongoing temporary assignment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in production/manufacturing/food environment is not essential; full training provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and adherence to food hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing baked goods (morning rolls, pies, bridies, cakes) on the production line.
• Perform quality checks on finished items and ingredients at each stage.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow company procedures.

What’s on offer?

Working as a Production Operative your day-to-day tasks will revolve around the production of a number of baked goods, including: Morning Rolls, Pie, Bridies, Pies, and cakes. You will also be expected to conduct quality checks on each finished item and ingredients at every stage of the production process; ensure a clean working environment at all times; and follow the company policies and procedures.

To be successful within this role you will be a reliable individual, ideally with previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or food related environment – but not essential, as full training is provided. Other key skills include:

• An awareness of the importance of food hygiene
