Job summary

Connect Appointments are recruiting for a Rosyth based Bakery client as Bakery Production Operatives. The role is an ongoing temporary position, Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:30, with weekly pay at £12.74 per hour.

You will work on production of various baked goods, perform quality checks, keep the area clean, and follow company policies. Full training is provided, suitable for reliable individuals with or without prior food manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Reliable individual with or without prior production/food industry experience; full training provided.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good attention to detail and awareness of food hygiene.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of a range of baked goods (morning rolls, pies, bridies, cakes).
• Conduct quality checks on finished items and ingredients at all stages.
• Maintain a clean working environment and adhere to company policies.
• Follow safety and hygiene procedures throughout the shift.

Working as a Bakery Production Operative your day-to-day tasks will revolve around the production of a number of baked goods, including: Morning Rolls, Pie, Bridies, Pies, and cakes. You will also be expected to conduct quality checks on each finished item and ingredients at every stage of the production process; ensure a clean working environment at all times; and follow the company policies and procedures.

To be successful within this role you will be a reliable individual, ideally with previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or food related environment – but not essential, as full training is provided. Other key skills include:

• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Follow both written and verbal instructions
• Good attention to detail
• An awareness of the importance of food hygiene
