Job summary

Manpower UK seeks a Production Operative for immediate starts at Stoney Stanton. You will work 42.5 hours weekly on a 16:00–01:00 shift, with overtime as required. Full training provided and a pathway via MyPath for online courses.

You’ll operate production processes, load/unload cylinders, and maintain safety and quality standards on site. Role involves manual handling, outdoor work in all weathers, and adherence to strict procedures.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Experience in production/manufacturing or labouring beneficial.
• Able to perform manual handling and lift heavy items.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weathers.
• Attention to detail and safety compliance.
• DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate process to meet production targets and rotate on cylinder filling.
• Load and unload cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during filling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the yard area.

Location: STONEY STANTON, LE9 4JJ

Shifts 16:00 - 01:00 Monday to Friday, (minus 30 minutes unpaid break)

Competitive Pay Earn £14.49 per hour, 42.5 hours per week, PLUS £20 shift bonus paid per shift. overtime rates of £21.74 per hour.

Expectations of the role

• Successful candidates will require a full driving licence.
• Experience in production, manufacture, construction, or labouring highly beneficial
• Manual handling and movement of gas cylinders up too a maximum weight of 47kgs
• Working outdoors in all weathers - resilience is key
• Physical work load
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict control and quality procedures

Responsibilities

• Delivering targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate process to meet production targets. Rotate on Cylinder filling, maintenance and inspection activities as required by production leadership.
• Loading and unloading cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform any Cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during the filling process.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard area.
