Pertemps in Wolverhampton is seeking a Production Operative for an ongoing, full-time role on a double day shift (£15.80 per hour). You will safely handle, sort and move materials, with full FLT training provided. A reliable, safety-conscious team player who is comfortable with a physically demanding environment will fit in well.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable in a physically demanding environment.
• Committed to maintaining high health and safety standards.

• Willing to learn new skills and operate machinery.
• Previous experience as a Production Operative or FLT Driver is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling, sorting and moving products and materials throughout the production facility.
• Operating Forklift Trucks to transport products and materials across the site.
• Full FLT training is provided, with forklift operation forming a key part of the role.
• Carrying out visual quality inspections and identifying damaged or defective products.
• Inspecting pallets and loads to ensure they are secure, stable and ready for dispatch.
• Preparing products for collection and distribution.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet production and operational targets.
• Following all health, safety and quality procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
