Permanent opportunity for a Production Operative to join a global Manufacturing organisation based in the Huddersfield area. Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer and specialise in the supply of components to various sectors.

This Huddersfield based new state of the art facility is easily accessible from the M62 and surrounding areas such as Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Wakefield and Castleford

The Production Operative Role

• Utilising basic hand tools including using cutting tools
• Degreasing & Testing of Hoses
• Operation of a Plastic extruder
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
• on-the-job training.

About you the Production Operative

• Previous experience working in a mechanical engineering environment
• A understanding of Extrusion, Injection moulding and Pressure flow would be highly advantageous
• Ability to work well as part of team and communicate with other workers

What’s on offer for the Production Operative?

• £12.25 per hour
• Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
