Position: Temporary to Permanent Line Operative

Location: Wigan, WN5

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 07:20 - 16:00 initially




• Shift pattern moving to 6-2 / 2-10 once fully trained

Holidays:

• 28 days per year, including bank holidays




• Earn an extra day's holiday for each complete year worked, up to five extra days after five years

What We're Looking For:

• 
  Experience: Skilled in running a production line and performing quality checks




• 
  Skills: Competent in mathematics, problem-solving, and completing production reports




• 
  Attitude: Flexible, can-do approach, able to work under pressure




• 
  Environment: Comfortable working in a hot environment with hot machinery




• 
  License: Counter-Balance license is a plus, but not essential




• 
  Safety: Safety-conscious with a proactive desire for continuous improvement




• 
  Transport: Must have own transport

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate two production lines




• Cover for absences and holidays as needed




• Handle manual tasks, with a maximum lifting weight of 25kg




• Maintain the housekeeping of the facility




• Receive comprehensive training to excel in your role
