Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking Production Operatives in Hinckley to join a busy manufacturing team. You will assist in production, packing and quality checking of products, using hand tools and reading barcodes.

The role is a temporary contract with the potential to become permanent. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 08:30–16:30, with breaks, and the hourly rate is £12.71. UK applicants only; Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience and comfort with hand tools.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to spot anomalies and maintain high quality.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and use hand tools.
• Read and process barcodes, purchase orders and material orders.
• Prepare, handle and move raw materials.
• Sample and quality check products.
• Pack, wrap and palletise finished goods.
• Conduct stock takes and identify issues.
• Meet production targets.
