Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative for a Hinckley site (LE10). This role supports manufacture, handling, quality checking and packaging within a small, busy team with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position offers an immediate start on a genuine temp-to-perm basis, via a 12-week agency assignment, with the opportunity to join the company permanently. £12.71 per hour, Mon-Thu 08:30–16:30, breaks included; flexibility to cover more days later.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production environment is required.
• Ability to operate machinery and production equipment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically able to handle materials and move stock.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Start/stop machinery per procedures.
• Read barcodes and orders accurately.
• Handle and move products and raw materials.
• Carry out quality checks and sampling.
• Pack finished goods for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Support other areas of production as needed.
