Job summary

Strongdor is seeking a Production Operative for the day shift at the Strongdor Factory in Morecambe. The role offers a starting salary of £29,000 and an early finish every Friday at 2:45pm, with discretionary quarterly bonus and health cash plan benefits. Training will be provided to support development in a long-term manufacturing career.

You will work as part of a team to manufacture bespoke steel doors to specification, operate machinery safely, and maintain clean, efficient production lines.

Qualifications

• Good timekeeping and a structured, organised approach to work.
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks, with a positive attitude.
• Previous manufacturing experience is desirable and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke steel doors to specification and quality standards.
• Operate machinery, tools and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow safe working practices and operating procedures.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Share ideas for improvements and support different production areas as required.

What you’ll be doing:
