Job summary

INSPIRED Pet Nutrition is seeking Production Operatives to join our manufacturing site near Kinmel Bay, North Wales. The roles cover Wet Processing, Wet Packing and Bakery, with a 24/7 shift pattern and 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:00 or 18:00 to 06:00.

You will follow production plans, maintain high quality and hygiene standards, and support training for colleagues. Prior experience in manufacturing and good literacy/numeracy are required, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within Manufacturing.
• Good literacy and numerical skills; able to communicate and report in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow production directions and ensure products are packed correctly with the right WIP quantities.
• Maintain high quality, in line with food safety standards and hygiene policies.
• Follow Clean As You Go to sustain high hygiene standards in the department.
• Conduct hourly production checks and report issues to Shift Leader/Area Manager.
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance; report breakdowns through the proper channels.
• Promote a safe culture and report safety issues and damage accordingly.
• Minimise waste of raw materials, packaging, chemicals and water; assist in training colleagues.
