Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a reliable Machine/Production Operative for a full-time role in Yate. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, handling pallets, packaging, scanning, and labeling to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Shifts are Mon-Thu 14:00–22:00 and Fri 14:00–19:00. A strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or packing experience preferred.
• Able to operate pallet trucks and scanners safely.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Compliant with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Stack pallets with boxes from the packing belt.
• Check the quality of boxes on full pallets and apply wrapping.
• Verify and attach accurate pallet labels and double-check colleagues' work.
• Operate PPT, hand pallet truck, and scanners safely.
• Monitor metal detection systems for malfunctions and report near-misses.
• Supply the Packing Desk area with new pallets to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow company policies and procedures to support packing desk operations.
• Maintain a clean Packing Desk area for a safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.

Are you looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stack pallets with boxes from the packing belt, ensuring product consistency and safe stacking.
• Check the quality of boxes on full pallets and apply correct wrapping to secure products for safe transportation.
• Verify and attach accurate pallet labels, double-checking the work of colleagues to maintain accuracy.
• Operate Powered Pallet Truck (PPT), hand pallet truck, hand scanners, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor metal detection systems for malfunctions, including completing near-miss forms if issues are observed.
• Supply the Packing Desk area with new pallets to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
• Follow company policies and procedures to support the effective running of the Packing Desk.
• Maintain a clean and tidy Packing Desk area to promote a safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment preferred.
