Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable Machine/Production Operative in Yate to join a busy warehouse team. You will stack pallets, inspect boxes, label pallets, operate PPT and scanners, and help maintain a safe, efficient Packing Desk.

The role is full-time with a night shift, offering competitive pay and opportunities for training. Candidates should have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and good teamwork with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet trucks and scanners safely.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Stack pallets with boxes from the packing belt, ensuring product consistency and safe stacking.
• Check the quality of boxes on full pallets and apply correct wrapping to secure products for safe transportation.
• Verify and attach accurate pallet labels, double-checking the work of colleagues to maintain accuracy.
• Operate Powered Pallet Truck (PPT), hand pallet truck, hand scanners, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor metal detection systems for malfunctions, including completing near-miss forms if issues are observed.
• Supply the Packing Desk area with new pallets to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
• Follow company policies and procedures to support the effective running of the Packing Desk.
• Maintain a clean and tidy Packing Desk area to promote a safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.
